When New Zealand sisters Sarah Gibbs and Catherine de Groot discovered the powerful benefits of rosehip oil for skin, back in 2002, they created Trilogy and took natural skincare into the future. Originally a range of five rosehip skincare products, we now craft over 40 incredibly effective natural alternatives to synthetic skincare, body care and hair care.
Over a decade later, we’re still driven by discovery. Led by the belief that nature is by far the best laboratory, we go to the ends of the earth to find nature’s most ingenious ingredients. We invent formulations that are concentrated, effective and unique for our customers – amazing everyday women who, like us, want to live beautiful, not complicated, lives.
AUTHENTICALLY NATURAL AND ORGANIC
Without certification, we believe calling a product or ingredient ‘organic’ or ‘natural’ can be misleading for people trying to make informed decisions. We only use ‘organic’ or ‘natural’ to describe ingredients and finished products which are certified as such by a recognised third
party accreditation body.

Trilogy achieved NATRUE Natural Cosmetics Certification in 2012, the first New Zealand skincare brand to do so. The NATRUE standard offers an independent guarantee that our products are authentically natural and cruelty free, to one of the world’s most transparent standards.

ETHICS
Trilogy is a cruelty-free skincare brand and we’re against animal testing. We do not test our ingredients, product prototypes or finished products on animals and we work closely with our ingredient suppliers to ensure they are aware of our company values and policies.
ENVIRONMENTAL
Right from the start we focused on being a sustainable skincare business. We achieved carbon neutral certification for our corporate operations back in 2007. Our packaging is recyclable and we have full traceability over our sustainably sourced ingredients.

SOCIAL
Supporting our local communities and causes we believe is an important part of our culture. We’re proud to work with not for profit organisations across the globe, including the Orangutan Protections Foundation, to which we have donated over $60,000 to date and So They Can, which works to educate and empower communities in Kenya and Tanzania. We are also a UN Women Empowerment Partner and a signatory to the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles.
